Coca Cola Holiday truck visiting St. Marys, and more festive fun
There’s no shortage of holiday spirit in town as Christmas approaches!
Thanks to the efforts of a local Coca Cola employee, St. Marys will welcome the Coca Cola Holiday Truck on Thursday, December 9! The Holiday Truck is the star of a first-ever national tour designed to deliver joy and optimism during what can be an emotionally challenging season.
The truck features a festively decorated and lit 35-foot trailer and is driven by Old St. Nick himself! There are two opportunities to visit the truck at Milt Dunnell Field on December 9: from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., and again from approximately 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. Both times, there will be a display and a “selfie stand” for photos.
Santa will interact with visitors safely from his cab. While the event is free, visitors are encouraged to bring non-perishable goods for the Salvation Army Food Bank. The truck will also visit Kingsway Lodge/Fairhill Residence and Wildwood Care Centre prior to the evening session at Milt Dunnell Field.
Please note that plans are dependent upon weather conditions. any changes will be announced as soon as possible on the Town’s social media.
Also new this month is the second annual Holiday Home Tour, which launched on Monday, November 29. This year’s tour features 25 beautifully decorated homes, with some returning favourites from last year’s inaugural tour.
